How to delete Gmail account permanently?

Here are the simple steps to delete  your Gmail account:

  1. Go to Gmail login page.
  2. Log in to your gmail account account.
  3. Then click on Google Account.

      4. And tap on tap Data & personalization.




      5. Under Data & personalization select "Delete a service or your account".


     6. On next page select "Delete your account".

     7.You have to re-enter your gmail password to verify your identity.

      8. On next page click the check box and Hit "DELETE ACCOUNT"

  10. If prompted any thing click "Yes". Now your account is deleted successfully.

What happens with the data of your account?

All the data and services related to your account are deleted once you delete your account from Gmail. All kind of data like photos, mails, drive, etc stored on cloud gets deleted. So, it is recommended to save or download your data before deleting the account.

How long it takes to delete the account permanently?

It takes minimum of 30 days time to completely delete your account. In some countries it may be maximum of 90-180 days . So, once the deactivation process started its recommended to do't log in to your account, doing so will cancel the deactivation process.

Can I recover the deleted account?

Yes, but you have to log-in to your account within 30 days other wise you will lost your account and won't get your account back.
