Steps to reset Aol password:

1. Go to the AOL Mail login page.

2. Type in your AOL username.
3. Click Next.
4. Choose Forgot password?.
5. Type in your username.
6. Tap Next.
7. Put the phone number associated with your account i.e. the one you entered when you created it. 
8. Click Next.
9. To verify your identity, AOL requires you to enter a verification code. You can have it sent to you by text or a phone call. Just choose whichever method you prefer.
10. After you receive your code, type it into the Enter Code field.
11. Click Next.
12. Enter the new password you'd like to use.
13. Click Save.
