AT&T Password reset
Whether you have forgotten the password for your AT&T
email account or it has been hacked, you can easily recover your account by
resetting the password for your account. To know how to reset the password for
your AT&T email account, follow the step-by-step instructions provided
below.
Steps to Reset/Change AT&T Email Password:
1.) To reset the password for your AT&T account, start
by going to the page via link- AT&T password reset. Wait until the
page gets loaded on your screen.
2.) Once the page gets opened on your screen, you will see a
couple of steps to reset the password. As you are looking to reset the
password, under “I forgot my… section”, select the option Password if it is not
selected.
3.) Then, under Password option, enter the USER ID of the
account for which you have forgotten your password under User ID field.
4.) Next, enter the Last Name under “Last name” field. After
that, enter the code as shown in the image on your screen.
5.) Once done entering the required information, click on
the Continue button.
6.) Then on the next page, you would be prompted with a
question as to how you would like to reset the password for your AT&T email
account. You will be given two options –
- Send me a temporary password.
- I’ll answer my security questions.
7.) If you know the answer to the security question, select
the second option “I’ll answer my security questions” and answer the question
to reset the password for your account.
8.) However, if you don’t remember the answer, simply select
the first option – “Send me a temporary password” and click on the Continue
button. You will be directed to the AT&T
sign-in page. Enter the temporary code which you would have received on
your phone number or alternate email address in the provided field along with
your AT&T email address.
NOTE: In case you closed the
window accidentally, you can enter the temporary password n the AT&T
sign-in page as usual. That way as well you will be prompted to create a new
